Friday night was our show at Brannigan's. It was our first time there, and the place was actually pretty cool. Sadly, we've been informed that this bar is closing in about three weeks, so if you want to check it out, you don't have much longer to do so!
Chimes & Gardens went on first, and then Heatsleeve took the stage. Heatsleeve is the band that we performed with at the Bridgetown Pub back in November, and Bang Bang is good friends with their bassist, so we've got some history with Heatsleeve. They put on a really great set - best we've seen yet from them!
After Heatsleeve finished, it was our turn to take the stage. We've changed up our covers a bit (just to keep you all guessing and make our shows interesting). If you didn't make it out to this show, then hopefully you'll be surprised when you hear them at our upcoming shows. The audience definitely seemed to enjoy our new selection!
So the set went well... we played the following originals:
You Know It All
Who I Am
Got No Time For You
By My Side
The Ledge
Get It Right
Abandon Me
So what's coming up for Odds Are? Well, we spent the day in the studio fixing & mixing our recordings, so hopefully we'll start giving out some samples at our next performances. It's not done, but it's getting there. We've also been writing some new stuff, and we hope to have some of it ready at our upcoming shows. We're also playing Friday, May 26th at the 449 Room in Trenton, and then of course we have our United Way Benefit at the Conduit in Trenton on June 23rd.
We'll keep you updated as things happen. Hope to see you out there at one of the shows!
